DELTA KAPPA CHAPTER

"The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence."

North Idaho College's Delta Kappa chapter of Phi Theta Kappa has a purpose of promoting scholarship, developing leadership and service, and cultivating fellowship among members of our chapter.  Everything we do is to reflect the Society Hallmarks of Scholarship, Leadership and Service, and evoke Fellowship through camaraderie and cooperation.  Our chapter this year plans to incorporate all of the Hallmarks through our three main projects of collecting funds for Heifer International, collecting recipes for the Greater Northwest Region Cookbook, and collecting trash around our community for Operation Green.  Our chapter wants to encourage and giver every one of our member’s a chance to lead and be involved in our projects and activities to better our school and our community.
